SEPRA was contacted on Thursday 9/8 about a hoarding case in North GA, where 48 dogs were taken to the local shelter. The shelter had to move the dogs out quickly or would have to euthanize those with medical needs. Rescues were contacted and acted quickly, thank goodness. This hoarding case is being prosecuted so we are documenting everything with our vet. We pulled 3 pugs: they were covered in fleas, terrible ear infections, eye issues, very skinny and coats are very thin from stress and malnutrition. They are all very sweet and with good food and lots of TLC they should be ready for their new homes soon!
