Have you ever wanted to adopt another pug, but cannot fit another curly tail into your bed? SEPRA's virtual fostering is for you! If you find one of our rescues absolutely irresistible (you don't have to stop at just 1!) you can click the button below his or her picture and make a donation of any size to that pug's medical care. Medical costs are soaring and even the smallest donation makes a difference. It may pay for one DHPPV or rabies shot, or it may greatly contribute to the cost of an emergency surgery as we have seen several lately. Liver surgery is costly. We are grateful for whatever you are able to give. All money goes directly to the pug's medical care, not an adoption fee. We are seeing more and more congenital and even neglectful issues in rescue: liver shunts, necessary eye removal, skin conditions, and the list goes on. With your help, these angels will be well on their way to recovery and having the spoiled life that they all deserve - and they ALL do deserve it! If you wish, your name can be displayed under the particular rescue's picture in show of your loving support. Unfortunately, due to circumstances, you will not be put into direct contact with the pug's adoptive family, but you will receive updates (for your virtually fostered pug) upon request after an adoption, through one of our volunteers. In 2001, the average medical bill for each rescue was $295. Our adoption fee is $250. With rising medical costs and irresponsible breeding, it will only get worse. Thank you for your support.
