Say hello to Phoebe. She is the newest member of the Philly Pug & Short Nose Rescue's Angel program.
Phoebe is a spunky, sassy and adorable old lady at her ripe age of 15. She has settled into her foster home and has warmed up to her foster sister. Her foster mom says, "she still not a cuddler, yet!" She has developed a few new nick names such as Pheebs or The Pheebs.
Please welcome Ringo to the Philly Pug & Short Nose Rescue Family! Ringo is between 8-10 years young. We believe he has some issues with IVDD (Intervertebral disk disease) He gets around ok but kind of hobbles around. With some good food & glucosamine, hopefully, we'll be able to build up some strength in his legs.
He is a very sweet & quiet guy. He loves being around his people and snuggling. Before coming into rescue he did lose an eye. He's vision is not the best but once he is use to where he is, there is no stopping him. He gets along great with other small dogs and is looking for a place to call home.
Meet Lilac, the newest member of Philly Pug & Short Nose Rescue. Lilac was turned over to MSPCA-Angell in August 2014. Lilac was released from the shelter and was quickly transported from Massachusetts to her foster home in Pennsylvania.
On December 10, 2013, Casey Jones came into Philly Pug & Short Nose Rescue. She is the youngest pug to come into PPSNR to date. This little girl is going to need a fair amount medical attention and good old fashion TLC. As one of our volunteers said about her, "she is a train wreck." According to our Vets at Southampton Veterinary Hospital Casey was about one year old at the time of her surrender to Philly Pug & Short Nose Rescue.
