Cedric is an adorable 5 year old Shih Tzu.
He is a very sweet & quiet guy. He loves being around his people and snuggling. Before coming into rescue he did lose an eye. He’s vision is not the best but once he is used to where he is, there is no stopping him. He is very quiet, loves to sit on your lap, gets along great with other small dogs and is looking for a place to call home.
Cedric is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and is house-trained.
***UPDATE – JANUARY 16, 2017*** Cedric went to the eye specialist today for a checkup of his left eye. The news was not good. The vet suggested that the eye is removed before it ruptures. This will not impact his quality of life as he already does not have any sight in this eye. Surgery has been scheduled for February 13, 2017.
***UPDATE – FEBRUARY 14, 2017*** Cedric. came through the eye removal surgery with flying colors. He is back in his foster home safe and sound. So far he is getting around just fine. He is on pain medication and antibiotics. In about a week he will go back to the surgeon to have the stitches removed and prepare to go to his forever home.
