This is a difficult blog to write, and one I hesitated to write or share. I’m not one to post my every emotion on social media or share my private life publicly. But there is a topic relating to our dogs that I have never seen addressed, and it’s something I believe a lot of us experience.

2016 – A Year In Review

2016 was another successful year for Philly Pug & Short Nose Rescue.

39 dogs came through the rescue. We started the year with six pugs in our Angels Program, more on them later, and seven dogs available for adoption. Twenty-one adoptable and two Angels joined PPSNR during the year. Twenty-five adoptable dogs went to their forever homes:

Rocky came into our lives almost four and a half years ago. Jodi had seen him on Facebook and helped get him into rescue. I remember the day clearly; it was the day after my first play closed. Jodi has just come home from a trip to Tennessee and she met me in Northport Village with our new foster with our granddaughter to see the pet parade (which we missed).
